The chrome plating on the plastic housings is peeling.

This stuff is put on by vacuum metalizing, and i only know of one place in Rhode Island and they are NOT inexpensive, so I doubt i will go that route. haven't talked to them about these, but based on prior work, i would say they would charge ~$300-$400 each to put a new metalized coating on

So, my apparent options are either find reasonably priced not damaged housings as replacements, or strip the exterior chrome coating off and paint with a reasonably bright silver paint, I have seen really reflective silver shades that may work.

Thoughts or suggestions?? I want my car to look nice, but not necessarily Courcours nice, thats a different expense bracket.

If you're not in a huge hurry try to find some clean used ones. Ebay, Craigslist, JF Marketplace, etc

Or contact David at Everyday. He might be able to fix you up. His prices are always more than fair

Maybe try Avery Conform Chrome wrap. Costs you about $50 to find out if I’m wrong.
