Here's a question: how do I remove the quarter window and the chrome C-pillar trim on a 93 Coupé?
I have removed all the nuts including the two that can be reached through the ratholes just above the backset. At the B-pillar the windows will nudge, but in the back (C-pillar) it will not move a bit. Do I need to remove the C-pillar chrome trim first and if so, how do I do this? Or is it just stuck because of the foam? Your comments and help would be greatly appreciated.
I have managed to remove them! This is how it is done:
remove all interior trim (seats, backs quarter panels, B-pillar and trim that sits against the headliner)
this reveals a whole bunch of nuts (8mm), 3 at the top, 2 on the b-post and 3 at the bottom (all are pretty easy to remove except the one which is most to the back (need to remove the panel (plastic) behind the seat-backs to get better access
through two ratholes in the c-post there are two more nuts with slightly bigger washers, be careful not to drop them whilst they come off!
gently push the windows out starting at the b-pillar and then the bottom
clear the top edge of the chrome trim and make sure someone is assisting you when you move back into the car to push the window out from the c-post
the screw-ends may sometimes get a bit stuck in the holes in the bodywork but with a little force you can push them out
