Locally there are a lot of solid good XJS Interiors in recycle yards. Our cars are often rusted badly but the interiors are great.
I wouldn’t rebuild, I’d go on line for CAR-Parts.com. Punch in the seats ( and color) you want and have them shipped to you. ( they typically will send pictures before you buy).
Putting all new seat parts in a well used car just doesn’t seem right to me.
Too bad you didn’t post this last fall. I gave away a set of seats that color that were perfect snd still soft leather. ( by the way if the leather is hard, use Leatherique and even rock hard leather softens up with a few treatments). Also careful application of SuperGlue ( Wear gloves or your fingers will stick together) will do an invisible repair of torn leather. I’ve even repaired torn seams with it.
I have a complete of seats that were recently reupholstered. You will have to dye it to your desired color.
Yours for the price of shipping. I just want to get it out of my storage shed.
If your car is a coupe I also have the rear seats. If convertible the front seats will work.
Attached is a pic of the front seat. All you will have to do is bolt it on to your seat rails.
Hiya, Sanchez! I would be interested in those seats you have, if you are still giving them away... I have a 1987 XJS coupe, so I could use all of the seats. I am also in Florida, so I would be able to pick them up...
Let me know!
Thanks!
John
