That is the one Rescue. Must be fitted. If your second coil is not there, someone before you has removed it, and they presumably never revved their car over 3,500 rpm or so! I do hope you will not make the same error, these cars LOVE being thrashed.

Haha that's why I modified the 3spd to act like a manual.

Another order put in at sng.

Still need to find an expansion tank (they were out) and also to order the injector kit then I think that will be it for parts unless I come across.l something while cleaning.

The coolant tank? I have a decent spare, you could sandblast and chrome it or whatever finish.

Hi Rescue

Those kits are quite expensive, have you thought about buying the Tube and making your own?

Not a chance. I'll have to make the wiring harness anyways which I can but sourcing parts to renew the fuel injector system would be a pain. Besides I don't mind supporting smaller business. Their customer service is top notch btw. Ya I get hosed for shipping and exchange rates anyways but at least it's all I need and don't have to worry about ordering stuff from different vendors and getting wrong stuff etc.

you are doing a great job on your irs. I didn't go to the prettying it up as much as you. I figure if I get a place with a seperate shop I'll tear it all apart and put it on a rotisserie lol.

Does this look like the right fi connector. I've seen simular in posts.

Also we went into a 28 day "hand brake" shut down lockdown whatever they call it again.

Still hoping my 3 week exercise is cancelled so I can spend more time on the jag lol. But for the next 3 weeks I should have plenty of time during the day now once I finish getting stuff ready at work.

Yes, that is the connector, it needs that half moon cutout to fit.

Whats the best way to tackle the oil sensors. I was thinking of taking it off the V but there seems to be a bango behind it with a pipe.

yeah, that banjo holds the 3 lines from the oil filter and out to the back of each head. Be bloody careful taking it out. You'll need to do that, remove the two bolts holding the pedestal so you can get at the pressure sender and sensor to remove. I understand some people have been able to get the sender/sensor out without removing the pedestal. I'm not one of them.

That picture is with the pedestal out lol. So it's just a matter of getting the wrench on the sender and sensor and removing them then?

Also I read elsewhere that I should replace the washers for the oil banjos that are behind the heads (once I take the cam covers off) as they leak. I'll probably post.about that later on anyways.
