No movement lately. Was busy with work and now I'm on a well deserved vacation. So in about 10 days near the end of my leave I'm gonna spend a few full days working on it.

Been so hot and busy with life. I forgot which manifold has the extra spigot on the underside? A bank or B bank?

I think that is A bank, as that spigot is the vac source for the Cruise Control, I am pretty sure.

A bank makes sense. I think it went to the air pump which was on that side. and if i recall my plan was to use it for cruise control as that went to a T in the air lines which is all gone now.

im finally cleaning the TBs and man those gaskets are hard to get off. Im letting them soak now.

Oh and i ordered a 2021 Jeep Wrangler 2dr ****** edition. should get it by xmas lol.

Got one manifold on, and the rear parts connected to aar as well as the tb. Slowly but surely. Takes time as I have to go back into the photos to figure out what goes were. Good thing I took lots. Lol.

So now I have to shape the blanking plates for the front. I cut them the other day so I have 2 triangles. I hope I can get them shaped nicely. Be a slow process as this is my first time using a angle grider lol

Little by little. All I need to do is shape the blanking plates now.

Can I omit the A bank fuel pressure regulator? I read I could. Just need the B bank one.

Confirm?

Less stuff for problems lol

Yes, and better for it. Take the hose direct from the end of the feed pipe that appears though the firewall (approx under the cabin end of the A bank air cleaner) to the inlet on the actual fuel rail. Carefully cut off the swaged fitting from the threaded fuel rail connector fixed to the original hose, and put the hose on it with a hose clip, AFTER having screwed it into the rail..

Note, the hose should go trhough the OEM wing clip to keep it well away from the exhaust, and forward past the exhaust before curving up to the front end of the engine

Question

For the other lines with the barbs did you do the same thing and use a clamp instead of that stupid pressure fit connector on the hoses?

These type circled in black

I think the spigot goes on the RH and is for the extra air for the AC mode... opens a little solenoid that gives an addean100-150rpms when ya click the ac on... apologies if someone answered that already
