So tapped the line from the compressor relay. I hope lol.
Just need to get the expansion painted and mounted then add coolant. About it.
Oh and put in a new fuel filter. I'll refresh the rest of the fuel system at a later date.

If you have a Delainair III unit then ignore this post. On my car (Delanair II) the compressor is actuated by 12 volts coming down a green wire that runs down the centre of the V. I have no idea where it originates, to my shame!, but it is not in the engine bay.
You could always tap off the feed to the compressor by the compressor itself.

The green/white wire goes into the green wire further down the line according to the scematics.
my wiring is more like an 89/90 then an 88. Not.sure if it's because of it being an North American / Canadian model.
I believe this piece (with pipe in middle) goes from the bottom of the expansion tank to the Tee that's in the cross water pipe. Seems to be right but want to confirm
Now for my last one does this connect to this via a hose?

Yeah,,,, I wouldn't be messing around with one of those. I can see a few problems, 1 or 2 BIG ones... Especially in a car that hasn't had weeks and months of coolant circulation after a looooong sit up...
Utter waste f time and money, introduces more points for failure.
Not so quick on dismissing them. Pull this crap out of my two Ganos filters yesterday. This was after a flush, new water pump, recored radiator, and a new coolant tank. Black flakes apoear to be paint from God knows where. There was also sand, some as large as small pebbles.

So the jags ready to be turned key once I fill it up with coolant.

I've plugged all the vacuums that I found.
There are those 2 vacuum controlled sensors. (One on the rhs far back, purple, 3 nipples all broke off and then the other one is on the lhs behind the efi temperature sender, 2 nipples broken off)
I cant put caps on them obviously. If I leave them as is will it affect anything or should I put some silicone or jb weld on them to plug the holes? Or is there blanks i can buy and remove them and put the blanks?
Cap the vac spigots, rther than blovking them.
Is yours a LUCAS igniiton or a Marelli? If Lucas, you need a vac line to the dizzy vac capsule from the manifold.

I cant cap the ones on those 2 sensors as the are broken st the base.
Lucas and yes I run a vac line to the manifold as required.
Be prepared for filling the car with coolant to be a long slow process. It took me a few times to get it right. Don't be tempted to put coolant in the cross pipe until you're really sure its full. Fill the header tank, wait for it to settle, top it off, wait, top it off again, repeat and repeat and repeat.

I use the process Grant uses. But yes it's super slow. 20L ugh. I did buy it today at least lol.
I dont think you are understanding that there's no lines to them because I got rid of all the emissions stuff.

And #7 thermal valve.
Both of these have no hoses going to them no due to eliminating the emissions stuff.
And i cant cap them because all the little spigets broke off when i removed the hoses (really brittle if anyone is going to remove them in the futures) but the holes in them are open at the moment.
From the diagram these look like they are screwed into the water manifold. Are the things just sensors that open and close a vac pipe, or will the coolant leak through them? Either way, just block them somehow, anyhow, off say I. they do not exist on UK models AFAIK.

Correct On the water pipe. All emissions NA garbage
