Default running issues

I just installed the LED gauges upgrade (figured that out, and was waiting for night time to test it). Went to turn the xjs on, and it's coughing, and back-firing, and not holding idle...

I have NO idea what happened between today and yesterday (when it was running fine)

with-in the last year i've had all new plugs, cap, rotor, wires, and ignition coils... so it shouldn't be any of them, so, what else could it be?

I'm not sure how intrusive the LED gauge conversion is but, considering that the running problem occured immediately upon completion of the job, I'd be tempted to back track thru all my steps to see if and wiring has been disturbed.

Cheers

yeah, that's what i thought, but i never ever disconnected wires in there, as i could just pop the bulb holders out with the gauges pulled forward (i have small hands)

i checked the wires, and they all seem to be in the right place, i didn't have to move any.

didn't feel like turning the car on again, as i don't want to cause more damage potentially.
