Default S or N?

Been playing around with the Sport mode on the tranny. I really like the response, and have been leaving it in Sport mode for normal driving. I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on this. Does this hurt gas mileage?
Does it affect the tranny in any way? The old V12 really moves out in 1st.
Thoughts??

Cheers ...Jimmy

Hi JayCee,

If it's anything like most "sports" modes on auto transmissions, I figure it would just change the predetermined shift points for the gearbox to hold the gears longer before changing up.

I doubt it would hurt the transmission driving the car in sports mode all the time, but it would probably affect the fuel economy of the car the same way driving with a heavy foot in normal mode does.

But then again, we drive big, heavy V12 cats... damn the fuel economy and drive the car the way they were meant to be (and that's the way that puts the biggest smile on your face).

Cheers!

Your right...it's a v12, mileage should not even be discussed. I don't care what the mileage is as long as it keeps running smoothly. Starting off in 1st really makes a difference in performance.
