Default Sad goodbye

Well my friends, I know I haven’t posted here in a very long time, a stark contrast from a few years ago when I was a regular contributor.
I’m afraid I’ve had to make some drastic changes in my life as I’ve been diagnosed with a neurological and untreatable disease that will ultimately only give me a few more years in this earth.
I decided that I couldn’t bear to watch my xjs sit and rot after all the work and time I’ve put into it and therefore gave it to my friend in hopes that he will fix it and enjoy it. I’ll be sending him an invitation to join this forum as I feel this is a wonderful source of support and information.
In short I wanted to thank you all for the camaraderie, laughter and support! God bless!

Bloody hell! This is my first time on this part of the forum, and even I am saddened by this, but so much posativity from the fact that everything you put into something you clearly love will continue.

God bless new friend, fellow Jaguar owner salute you.

As I'm not the Quintessential "Jaguar" Type owner. I'm a whole lot more the Hot Rod type, then the British Gentleman. This Forum has some of the best and most diverse group of people you could ask for. The help has been enormous, and always appreciated, including the constructive criticism. Cause nobody knows everything. Especially about our beloved "finicky cats" spelled Jaguar. LOL! We should all be so lucky as to be a part of this Group. So So sorry your life has taken a bad turn on you, and yes send your friend this way, we'll take good care of him.

Jack

Hello, Jamey,
I don't own an XJS, but I lurk over here sometimes just because it's Fun!
I'm so sorry to read of your diagnosis.
I do understand "not wanting to watch it sit and rot!" Boy Howdy do I understand that!
I do think it's wise of you to give your Jag to someone you want to have it. Very wise indeed.

Here's wishing you well.

Sorry to hear of your problems Jamey, take care and enjoy the time you still have.

Hopefully the new owner will enjoy the car as much as you have.

Hi Jamey,

Sorry to hear your news. You have done the right thing with the car and I hope you get the chance to ride around in it with your friend on those awesome NH roads.

Take care,
LeeP

Thank you all for your kind words, believe me this is not something I do lightly. I’m going to try to attach a picture from a few years ago with some beloved pets that have gone before me

Excellent picture, beautiful canines. One of the best of the (not many) uses of XJ-S rear seats!

Have faith, however that looks to you. Keep moving and know you are always supported here as your friend will be too!
