Admit it--you're Hoovie's British cousin, aren't you OB?

Tyler Hoovie of Hoovie's Garage is an American car guy who buys the cheapest XXX he can find of all sorts of interesting cars (no Jags unfortunately) and details their problems. He has a "hoopty fleet" of old cars that don't work well, and keeps buying different ones.

Hi Someday

Looks like twice as expensive as I could buy one for in the UK about £22,000

Hoovie is Amazing! and yeah we could be related, we seem to be on the same page and singing from the same hymn sheet

I first came across Hoovie when I saw his early video on his land yacht. Now he has a 1978 Cadillac Eldorado coupe, another of my dream cars--though ideally the 1976 [more horsepower] Eldorado Biarritz (top of the line Eldosaur].
Huh, it's only 145 yen to the pound. That's a pretty decent rate for me. Should visit the UK soon to take advantage....

Hi Someday

Bring a Datsun 240Z and that should pay for your Trip!

Alex,

There is a Quest TV show called Goblin Works, and you might want to watch the MGB episode. They converted a 'Big Rubber Nosed' B and converted it into a speedster.

May give you some ideas...

Cheers

Hi Mac

Cheers!

Just been watching this on Youtube and by way of a bonus they also did the Merc R107 my next dream machine but at the moment I've got probs with 50 Shades 'My Grey XJS'

As She's now due for an MOT but the Weather has been so bad that it tried to Snow today, not a major problem as the locknuts on the Calipers need rewiring, its just a question of fitting it all in

But as for the MGB She needs a new Clutch Master Cylinder £70 plus one or two other bits and pieces together with 4 New Tyres although the bodywork is in amazing condition

Thanks Again

Alex
