She Doesn't Run
Hello
1996 Jaguar XJS
parked a year and half ago as the belts were about shot, sat out 2 ohio winters, yesterday replaced belts, put new gas, new battery and now she doesn't seem to want to fire...she ran fine when parked.
Checked fuel at fuel at rail and seemed to have pressure.
Any ideas on where to start diagnose much appreciated.
thanks

My suggestion is a quickie repost in the XJ-S Tech Section.
ALSO, is it a V12 or an AJ16 6 cylinder.
Since it appears to have fuel?, the only other element it needs is spark, and it should go "boom".
OK, there are other things on the AJ16 that can trip you up, but basically, AIR, FUEL, SPARK, and away it goes.
Once we all know the engine we are trying to make go, the answers will be more specific.

Welcome to the forum Matthew,
I've moved your question from General Tech Help to XJS forum. Members here with the same model will be able to advise.
I see this is your second new thread without posting an Intro. Please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some info about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.
