Thanks for the link, richmz, I will be ordering some of that stuff for sure. Are you asked frequently (as I am) if your interior was redone because it looks so clean?

When we bought this one 3 years ago, it had lambswool covers on the seats. It really helped protect them, but it took away from the beautiful leather. When we cleaned it up and after the Scuffmaster treatment, it really popped out. Yes people are amazed that a 20+ year old looks this nice, inside and outside.

What is your interior color? Is it a light grey? You'll need the interior code for that supplier of the dye.

That would mean I would have to sell the car?????, NO WAY, what on earth would I replace an XJ-S with, certainly NOT a newer Jag, mmmmm.

I actually purchased a shifter assembly for a newer Jag thinking I could just transplant the chrome shaft but found out the bottom end is also different. So I did the same thing, cut both in two and had them welded. Will get it chromed some day but do like the newer round knob instead of the T style. The good thing is I can replace the modified one and restore it if I like without all the hassle now. So I guess it is like having the best of both worlds.
