Default ....source of de Nile?

..........................or just Mark in denial.

lve been looking for my passenger footwell water source on my 1982 XJS FHC V12, ive cleaned out the scuttle and also the evaporator drain tubes. lt seems that the water has been coming down the inside of the bulkhead where the rust streak is. The question is is this typical of either blocked scuttle or evaporator pipes or do i need to keep looking?

Cheers AOI

Place garden hose on top of car, sit in side with can of beer, carpets removed....and wait. Depending on the result you'll eliminate half the possibilities.

I'd also look into getting a jug of corroseal and grirty sand paper fo clean that up after.

I would say that, as well as the blocked aircon, that has been coming in past the windscreen seal. The only way to be sure is to remove the dash and the aircon unit and look, treat, repaint and seal the windscreen and any other areas you find.

Thanks Greg! The second sentence, that will be the aforementioned denial then. LMAO. l was thinking at the very least to do the job properly the screen has to be refitted with a new seal and then if that isnt a fix the dash has to come out.

lm going to currently take the cowards way out and not let it in the rain. unless testing.........
