Default Steering #2

When l last took the car out, the steering just didnt feel right. It seemed sloppy and steering wheel didnt centre. When l went to top up the reservoir it was completely empty.
I havent seen any oil on the floor. WTF ?? Refilled it and still felt sloppy.
Any ideas ?

It's going someplace - perhaps the boots are full - are there no damp patches at all ? if you keep putting oil in sooner or later where it is going will become evident but don't run that pump dry or you will be replacing that too - hope it isn't already toast ....

I hope your rack isn't leaking because no matter what you may hear rebuilding one of these things is not a DIY job unless you have the tools for testing, setting up and know how to use them.
