I have three steering racks and will be using two of them. One will be going into my V12 (needs replacing) and the other will be going into a series 3 XJ6 which is getting an AJ6 conversion with manual gearbox
Part Numbers are:
1. ZF 7852974306 (XJS 3.6)
2. CBC 1715 (XJS 3.6)
3. CBC 4648 (Out of the series 3).

My question is which rack to use in which car and would be more beneficial? My thoughts are to use the ZF in the V12 and the CBC 1715 in the series 3.
Are there any issues in using either of the ZF or CBC 1715 in the V12? I note the p/n for the V12 steering rack is different.

 

Id use the ZF with the AJ6 car instead.
