got the new wheel finished . approx 30-40 hours invested. i didn't like some of the reviews i saw about poor communication with Myrtle Ltd. and $600 seemed pretty spendy so i made my own. real wood wheel with a walnut burl pattern and about 10 coats of polyurathane.
Gee maybe you could make a living out of making these!
i have another wheel i think i'll try to do like the wheels on the celebration models that have the walnut at the top and bottom of the wheel and the leather wrap at the sides.

This is what I want. I can send you mine this winter??
That is beyond Amazing and anything I have ever seen before
Only Wish I had those kind of Skills
How long did it take you to make it from scratch?
You ought to go into production!
time wise i think approx. 30-40 hours but a lot of that was R&D seeing what worked and figuring out color. i painted it 3 times until i got the right combination. the next one i do i'll try to keep track of the time spent.
i don't know if there would be enough demand for one of these to try to sell but i guess i could put one on Ebay and see what results i get.
