Well, that very test was done on my faulty TPS many times....and the car kept on dying at 60mph in the highway. I don't know if it started acting up because of the heat or what, but every time I hear of a AJ16 car that is cutting out at high speed and the TPS is suspect , my advise is always to replace. 300 or 400 bucks is not worth causing an accident.
