Suspension Spring Tensioner question

Suspension Spring Tensioner question
I am considering to have a solid and strong spring tensioner made here for my X308, following the instructions of an UK forum member who did the same.
The main rod will be a long piece of 19mm or so threaded bar, drilled for an 8mm roll pin, and cut it so it sticks out 13/14mm each side of the bar.
This will work for the X308, but can anyone who did so for an XJ-S confirm if the same will work for the XJ-S (Daim??).
I seem to remember even the X300 has a smaller entrance, so I am not sure if there is sufficient room for the 19mm bar / 8mm pin on a XJ-S.

Really?
My phone is an older flip phone. Only sorta smart. I don't even try. Just a backup and to get me home via a flat bed if one of my old cars quits when I'm out and about. Kids try to get me a real smart phone. I resist mightily.
But, this keyboard is definitely USA. Does it come up with words in a different language? Absolutely.
I've not ventured in to "psot" edits. Deliberate typo. Mebbe someday...

Yes it really is fighting me. Due to me more so communicating here in German (as I live here and most of my friends being German), it has the German dictionary as a main "setting". So any time I write "have" it turns to "habe" which is the same word, just German meaning the same... And the autocorrection sees it as a typo, as the V and B are next to eachother on German keyboards...
And if I by accident place a b instead of a "space" between two words, it will not correct it as it doesn't know what the English words are... Dreadful trying to write a different language from a phone...
Should you finally manage to spell it right, then autocorrect will change it back and forth a few times untill you get angry and in the end force it to learn a new word...

Daim,
On my phone I turned autocorrect off, but left the suggestion pane. I can then accept what it thinks I am typing, or continue using words not in it's dictionary and it won't change them. Very useful for all sorts of technical terms that are not in a general dictionary, and much less frustrating!

I downloaded Google keyboard on my Android phone, which has a one-key-change-language operation, and you just set your preferred languages.
