Rafael,
Sorry to hear that you might have to take it to the junk yard. Ideally, if you can't sell it whole, parting it out would be the 2nd choice (I wouldn't mind having the IRS out of it, but, I'm in a money crunch right now). However, I know that you're probably trying to get relocated, and you don't have the time, nor the place to part it out.
As much as I hate to suggest it, Pull-A-Part is right there close to you, on south I-55, and they gave me $150 for a 98 Ford explored a few years ago. If your car is still as complete as it was when I visited you last year, I would think you could get the same.
If it still runs, you might want to run it in Craig's List again. School just started, and maybe a high school junior, or, senior would want it for cheap transportation, so they won't have to ride a school bus. You know how ego and peer pressure are for teenagers. Nobody that age wants to still be riding the bus when all their friends have cars.
Let me know what you end up doing.

Thanks Lace.
I just posted the whole car to give it a "last chance".
Rare Jag XJS - reduced
I will leave it there this coming week and then start parting out if i get no offers.
Please, PM me your zip and an offer for the light... So far I have not thought about prices for any of the parts so I don't know how much it'd be... and if I search on line, the prices are all over the place.

Thanks in advanced.

Rama1200 and I live in Mississippi. There are no Jaguar clubs here. Jags are as rare as hens teeth in these parts. The closest thing is an English motoring club, which mostly caters to Triumphs, MGs, and a few E Types.

for some reason ,unbenonst to me, old Jags are just not worth much money!
when getting ready to move from Daytona to Austin tx. 10yrs ago, i had 3 (three Jag V12 engines, and two T400 transmissions).
time was running out, so off to the local scrape yard, they gave me $25. for each engine, and $10. for the trans!
i almost cried to see them go into a Shredding machine!
so life goes on, some of the cars i have junked would amaze you guys(i'm 81 yrs old), and it actually shocks me to think of them, today in good condition would be worth in the millions!!
remember junk is just that JUNK, just because someone likes it does not make it not junk!
one mans junk is another mans treasure, or maybe a fools errand, BUT i do know to keep some form of sanity in todays nutcase world we need something thats is tangible to our personality!
OK just ranting.

Junk as art
Uh oh-I'm a lost cause. I live in central Oklahoma USA. Somebody called it the "cultural center of the universe". Ronbros, help me out....
If I had room in the garage for that 94 coupe, I'd be interested.
My XJS was/is my therapy dog. She helped me recover from a twister hitting my house/neighborhood in May 2013. I am emotionally invested. Gloria is art. Fine art. Suits my taste anyways. So when I see that BRG coupe, well, that's her "brother".
Jags have soul. Don't they?

Ltd,
I've driven through that "cultural center of the universe" many times, from I-35, along the Cimarron Turnpike, through Tulsa and Muskogee, down to I-40, when I was stationed at McConnell AFB in Wichita Ks. It was usually a good fast drive when I was in my Mustang GT. Not so much when I drove it in my Jeep CJ7.
Just like in Kansas, lots of wide open country, and you can see for miles and miles.

Ouch!!!!
That temptation thing. but, at least you are half way across the USA from me. I do not need another Jaguar. but, then, do I need the one I have... not in my budget anyhow....
That is far from a crusher car, rusted pans and all.
Donate it, many worthy causes. Take a deduction. Market value, so they say. IRS did tighten the rules a tad!!!
Way back when, I had a 94 Olds Achieva with the slick little DOHC four banger. Looked good in bright red. Very decent, but a tad high on the miles. I used it for a business car for a time. when I retired, it was surplus. Effort to sell not so good. Donated to ARF, the animal rescue outfit, supported by hall of fame bound baseball guy, Tony LaRussa and wife. I saw it running around not too long after.
Sidebar: Two rescue dogs from there. One guy died early on. The next asleep at my feet. Coco is a good guy.
