Test for bad bulb check unit

I'm trying to narrow down why I have 3 warning lights on, the parking brake, the brake and the washer fluid. I can't turn them off unless I remove the bulb check unit. Process of elimination led me to this point. From brake bleeding to the level switches, to the combination switch, handbrake and the washer level. Everything works perfect until this switch or its plug. The plug tested ok except pin 5 has nothing and it looks like it should be grounded. It still completes the bulb check for the outside lights without the unit installed when you turn on the light switch. Any input ?

The wiring to the plug has some how shorted that caused the 3 lights to remain on after the test cycle. Simply removing the check unit turned off the lights. The brake warning light and the hand brake still work independently but the low washer fluid does not. I don't use it anyways. The bulb check just let you know those 3 bulbs were working. It's called the warning light failure unit.
