Going waaaay out on a limb here.

You have a 6cyl car ???

If your ID is a give away a 1995 AJ16 engined beast??

AJ6 and AJ16 are the same Stat.

AJ6 has an o/ring, and the cover is to suit that o/ring.
AJ16 has a Gasket, and the cover is to suit that Gasket

Put an o/ring on an AJ16 and you WILL break the cover.

Put a Gasket on an AJ6, and it will leak.

NBB2217AC is the Gasket you need, IF its an AJ16 engine.
EAC8999 is the O/ring IF its an AJ6 engine.

Doesn't seem to be any problem sourcing the gasket. It's still available new. Just buy it from Jaguar about $8, or a pattern part from somewhere like SNG Barratt about $5.

Cheers

Paul
