Throttle shaft bushing change

Throttle shaft bushing change
I did a search before posting this. Everyone agrees the easiest way to change the shaft bushings is to remove the shafts from the brackets. My question is what is the easiest way to do that. It looks as if you have to remove the throttle bodies or the bracket from the end of the manifolds. Am I missing something, and which is best? Also, does anyone recognize this method of repair? Looks like the PO tapped the hole??? Sorry picture is sideways, iPhone kinda hard to hold in tight quarters.
Thanks

Just did mine a couple of days ago.
Removing the bracket at the end of the manifold worked well. That was one of the methods recommended over at Jag-Lovers. Don't remove the three fasteners all the way, just most of the way. Place a towel or rag under the area where you'll be working just in case you drop any of the tools or pieces you'll be working with. Also, I used the bushings that twerth used in this post ,https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ge-bush-72286/ still available at O'Reilly's
