TKX custom transmission mount

TKX custom transmission mount
I have been working on a custom mount for my TKX swap. Last year I ran a customized factory setup but I didn't like it. It didn't allow much clearance for U joint and tail shaft.
finally got my brackets back from machine shop, will attempt to weld this up this weekend. Plan is to connect the halves with square tubing.
I will use a standard GM rubber mount.
will see how it goes.

Upper tabs are for the factory bolts in the tunnel, these are required to maintain strength.
Unfortunately I don't have a CAD drawing, I wish I did. Would make design tweaks much easier.
This came from my mind and translated to steel via trial and error in my garage (notice the holes in the vertical tabs…not quite exact).
i would be happy to walk someone through my process.
if you have a metal supplier and a friendly machine shop close by, its fairly easy to put the parts together. Welding it up isnt too difficult
either.
This works for a TKX, not sure what other transmissions have same mounting location.
one thing I will say, the ford rubber mount I used with last seasons setup gave factory like vibration isolation, you couldn't feel a thing. I used a GM rubber mount with latest version as it was lower profile/smaller and it doesnt have the same dampening properties as the ford part did. There is some rumble transferred to the cabin, not much but noticeable.
Drilled and tapped the holes for heat shield mounting screws tonight(see pic)
feel free to ask questions, id be happy to share my experience

The issue I have with CAD is I don't use it enough to justify the cost, and the way computers work my old programs need to be updated to work with the "newer" operating systems. In the meantime, I lean quite heavily on my old-school skills: the straight edge, the compass, the lead. Hasn't let me down yet. Every now and then I do a "system upgrade" of sharpening the lead.
I am interested in changing the transmission to a manually shifted device, but that's something with which I have zero experience, and there are a lot of known unknowns there, to include how to support the transmission. I guess best is just crawling under there and seeing what's there, and then trying to see if I can figure out a way to do the same. I mean, what could possibly go wrong, right?
