Between 49 and 55 Ft Llbs. This is from the Jaguar official worksohp manual; BUT assuming new metloc nuts.

OB,

Don't quote me, but my interpretation from the workshop manual is that the nuts securing the disc to driveshaft flange are 78 - 94 Nm?

Cheers

Paul

Hi Greg

Hi Paul (ptjs)

Cheers Guys!

Its all coming back to me now as 55 ft Lbs is starting to ring bells from the last time I did this which might even equate to 78 nm so I will check my Torque Wrench in order to make a Comparison and Yes I am using New Lock Nuts Metlocks

Paul (ptjs) please could you remind me how you did the Locking Wire

Jack used a drill which worked great but I seem to remember you used a different method which was better if you wanted a space between 2 nuts

At the risk of annoyance the best way to lockwire is to use lockwire pliers, if you can't you need to twist evenly and aim for 6 to 8 twists per 25mm - do not over twist, use appropriate locking wire - any old wire will not do. You can use normal pliers but it makes things difficult - you don't want to scar or damage the wire.

If you want a good vid on how to do this go find AgentJayZ on YouTube - he has a couple of really good vids on using lockwire.

I will make a point to take pictures of this process when I lockwire my front calipers back on - I'd offer the differential bolts too but they're way off into next year.

Hi OB.

I used a small dowel with a hole drilled across it and put that in the drill chuck. Then I put the wires through the hole from opposite sides then twisted the ends together. It worked every time, and avoided any problems of the chuck jaws gripping the wire if you just use the chuck only.

Cheers

Paul

Hi Paul (ptjs)

Yes! I remember it now! I used a 1/4 Wood Drill that already has a hole drilled through it, which was inspired by your dowel idea

As for the Rebuild its all taking shape quite nicely and everything is just snugged up tight for the moment just to iron out any possible snags before I Torque it all up, its just the rainy Weather that's literally putting a damper on things at the moment and I mustn't forget to change the Diff Oil this time!

Hi Ben

I've only got a few bolts to wire up but I will have a look at that Video, so Cheers for that
