TPS issue

Hey guys,
A little background on my V12, i had the engine fire quite a few years ago and was able to put it out pretty quickly. It charred some things and i had it repaired at the Jaguar dealerhip in Troy Michigan. They didn't do a great job, so i'm not convinced everything is right, although it does drive ok. In doing this 700r4 conversion I'm working on the TV cable attacment to the throttle tower and decided to check the TPS. They used the red sensor upgrade with adapter kit. First off, the idle voltage was 0V and i have to rotate the whole adapter 60 degrees to get to .32V, since the normal adjustmant is maxxed out. Not a big deal, I can adjust this. The STRANGE part, and why I'm here to ask your opinion is that when I move the sensor (and the voltage does increase) I hear a small click under the fuel rail. Before i start digging into poor harness rewiring issues, is there any reason moving the TPS with Key On Engine off should activate any clicking around the injectors, distributor or cruise control bellows?
Thanks
Jeff

NORMAL.
That is the ECU triggering the Injectors, once.
The PreHE triggers the last 6 fired, but I am NOT sure if the HE does that, or all 12, I just know it triggers Injectors in that scenario.
Most of use that feature as a "squirt" of fuel for Cold start assist, and also for Hot start assist.
