Transmission leak
#21
Mac...
Finally managed to get the hoses off. Had to completely remove the air cleaner box to get to the other end. Then they came off the rack easily, but still took 2 hours. What I'm worried about now is the fact that I wasn't able to determine where the leak was coming from. The top of the tower and around the seal looked dry, so that's a good sign.
The new hoses should be here in a few days, which will give my back and neck time to recuperate a little. Also, the scrapes and cuts on the arms and hands.
Later...Jimmy

Well...finally done. Drove the car a couple times and no more leaks.(at least not from the steering!) Not a fun job!
Mac thanks for your guidance with this job...not sure I would have tried it without reading about your ordeal first.
Now to get a big cookie sheet under that oil pan.
Thanks...Jimmy
