Transmission service needed??
Whaddya think? Could've gotten a few more miles out of that fluid? Jeez, car only has 67k miles.
I replaced transmission filter, transmission mount and added a B&M deep pan with drain plug and then drained and filled transmission 3 times. Gonna drive a few miles and then do a final drain and fill.

Watch out for the drain plug leaking in that B&M pan. Mine did, from both the hard nylon sealing washer on the drain plug and from the drain plug fitment where it was attached to the pan itself inside. Well worth sealing the inside join with some hi temp epoxy stuff, and changing the nylon plug seal for something better. Just a heads up, may not happen to you.
Car looking great. LOVE the front bumper - which will greatly enhance clean airflow into the rad stack too, and do wonders for cooling.

Gonna have to cross my fingers on the welded area-I didn't even look at that.
Here is the pan I bought:
B&M Automatic Transmission Deep Pans 20280 - Free Shipping on Orders Over $99 at Summit Racing
Heads up, those fins on the inside had to ground down some in order to clear the tranny filter.

Yours is a much better quality object than my version was Andy. Looks like a cast one, so no leak worries from the fitment. That type of sealing washer is called over here a Dowty washer, and they are just fantastic. This is what mine looked like:
and I took it off in favour of a Moroso jobbie that I am really pleased with and got at a decent discounted price:

I had a seal leak in my 86 V-12. pulled tranny in an hour, had my local shop rebuild ( with Jaguar bands, I furnished new modulator ) $400, and re-installed in and hour. Ran good and clean when I sold it 50K miles later. Dealer wanted $5000 in 1993. Not a hard tranny. If clean fluid exchange does not work, you know it doesn't take an arm and leg to fix it.
