Is the rear window seal and chrome trim still intact around the glass? I need the seal. I have the glass.. thanks.. It has been difficult to find just the seal. That is why I asked about the glass, initially. I am after the seal/gasket. It has to be in one piece and not cut. If you can remove most of the glass and retrieve the seal with some parts of glass in it, that is fine. Let me know. Thanks...

You already see the market reflecting this and IMO the gap will continue to widen in the future. In reality there were many less convertibles then coupes produced in the 21 year production run and many less 4.0L and 6.0L XJS' produced.
The E-type and the XJS are 180 degrees different in their demand curves as the most sought after E-types were the first generations and the XJS is the last.

I must say, the center stack with the aluminum trim and analog clock (working or not..) is a nice touch that I wish they would have brought back in some of the later cars. Reminds me of the early E Types...
