Default Trunk/boot lock cylinder

Hi folks: the lock cylinder in the trunk appears to be broken - that is the garage disconnected it and I am now unlocking the trunk using the electrics only. This is a 1992 XJS coupe. I need to find a replacement lock cylinder - so if anyone knows where I might find out, I would be very interested.
Also, I wondered what years of XJS lock cylinders will fit a 1992 AND are there other Jag trunk lock cylinders that should work - for example, a 1992 XJ sedan?
Finally, has anyone actually dismantled a lock cylinder and got it working again after it appeared to be seized?
Thanks
Bill

They are pretty easy to pop out (at least on the facelift models)

To answer your question, find the part number using JDHT, the. Use JDHT again to do a part number search and see if it lists other models.
