You'll probably find better prices at RockAuto than Ebay. There is no need for 10mm wires on an XJS, standard 8mm will likely be better. Space is tight in there.

Also for plugs, the Jaguar spec is NGK BR7EF. They work well, but the V12 isn't as fussy as the AJ16 is about plugs. As a general rule I avoid fancy plugs, the regular ones can work better. Certainly on the older Jags with the XK engine never use anything but regular copper plugs, the engine runs much smoother on them than platinums.

The lead set (if the pic is what you are actually getting) looks like its for Lucas ignition, where as the Cap and rotor are Marelli.

It would pay to add your car details to your signature, there are so many variables, Like ignition that are NOT interchangeable between engines.

10mm leads will almost certainly cause ignition noise in the radio, you will most likely need to add filter capacitors to the radio DC supply lead. This happened to mine with 8.5mm leads

I run 10mm Formula Power leads and have done for over 10 years, they work really well and starting was much better too than with the standard OEM I ran before. I am not saying they are any better than other top brands such as Magnacore, just that they are very good. I cannot comment on radio interference though, as I only use the CD.

The leads might be Marelli , there are 14 leads !. I recently purchased 10 mm leads , had to play Rubiks Ht leads because the lengths were wrong and a few are tighter than I like , so it may pay to check the original lengths and request the individual lengths from the seller.

Top spot Sherlock. Formula Power will do individual lengths. Just in case anyone is interested, I ordered a set to individual lengths, which does tidy up the runs a good deal. I have removed the cruise control, which might affect matters, but here they for a Lucas ignition car if anyone is interested.
