Default Turn signal issue - 95 XJS 4.0L

I have an issue with my right turn signal on my 95 XJS. The left signal seems to work fine and even when I switch on the hazard lights they all seem to operate correctly on all four corners but I can't seem to get the right turn signal to operate. Could this possibly be a ground issue and does anyone know where the ground location is to the right side turn signals? Possibly a bad connector somewhere in the harness not making a good contact. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Does the relay click on and off when you put the right turn signal on?

If all works with the hazards it sounds like the turn signal switch is to blame.

Do you have the wiring diagram or know it to be different from earlier cars? I only have mine, I'm able to locate up to 93 but thats it. I KNOW I've seen a free MY96 but can't find it.

The one I am aware of basically has the hazards and signal switch in parallel, as you expect. From what I recall it simply branches off and connect again at some point, so you have a pretty small circuit that the issue lies in.

Check those connectors, make sure none of the pins are pushed in and just methodically check resistance through that circuit until you find it.

I'll see if I can be more clear about what I mean with a diagram later.

If the hazard lights work and the left turn works that only leaves the Green with white strip wire between the turn signal switch and the LBS41 splice.

Find connector CS1 pull it apart and check the terminals for corrosion or burning. Clean with contact cleaner or IPA and plug back in.

Success at last. The fault turned out to be the wires going into the back of the switch. I believe someone previously must have removed it or disconnected the wiring at one point and had replaced the wires in the wrong order, only allowing the left signal to work. Thank for the help everyone. Feeling relieved it wasn't a major wiring ordeal.
