Then came the redundant ground. I fashioned 2, 6-8 inch long pieces of wire. On one side of each wire, I crimped a spade connector. On the other side, one wire got a male connector, the other a female (as shown). One wire got bolted to a solid ground point on the car, while the other, a solid ground on the cluster. Then i reinstalled the two factory plugs, plus my additional ground wire.

I would download the guide. Then find every ground point in the car. Take it off and clean each of the ground points for the entire car. These need to make good contact. Then clean the printed circuit board connector and add the extra ground to your cluster circuit.

You need to learn Russian.
Anyway the link I posted has a page with all the ground points. Start by cleaning those. ALL of them. This will take you a while but will be worth it.

ok, so we have progress! After much poking and proving of the hazard button, the turn signals work now. However, the driver side blinks normally while the passenger side blinks like a maniac. As soon as I can figure out how to pry out the switch, I'll replace it with another hazard switch I acquired.
