Hi all, I have an opportunity to purchase some tyres for my 89 convertible. I just wanted to check that 225x 60x 16 are ok on my 7j rims and will fit on the car ok. If anyone can confirm I will be extremely grateful. Many thanks in advance.

 

As long as you have 16 inch diameter rims, yes. These are the size tyres I use and are correct for the car and speedo. To be legal in the UK they must be at least V speed rated though.
