Hi Robbo

Manners sells this piece of hose for about £7 so may not be worth shopping around

Hi OB.
I did see the Manners hose just a bit wary as to the quality supplied. Can’t really see much in the picture and to be honest after my recent experience with the aftermarket radius arm bushes which were rubbish I would rather pay a bit more and get decent stuff. The hose on the car has the jaguar part number on it not the hose size. If I can get the size I can get a pice of hose dropped in to the office by one of our work suppliers Express Radiators in Norwich.

Rob.

Where does it fit and what does it do?

If it's one of those steam relief hoses attaching the the metal pipes above the radiator then 1/4"ID should do the trick. I'll look at mine later.

Cheers

Greg which one to go for ? There are 2 on manners site one has WOV after the part number but is cheaper. I assume this is woven so would have thought it would be the more expensive option. I will await your advice before ordering.

Rob,

There are 3 options for you.

The part number is actually CAC50931, not CAC5093

The original Jaguar part (CAC50931) Is about £29

Manners do an OEM part CAC50931# at about £8.50

Then they also do a pattern part, confusingly named CAC5093/1*WOV also about £8.50

The * indicates it's an aftermarket pattern part. And the CAC5093/1 seems to be just an error in their website part naming.

I'd go for the OEM one CAC50931# as you can trust Manners if they say its OEM.

Good luck

Paul
