Default V12 CLT sensors

Are all the V12 coolant temperature sensors the same? I have found some specs here: Testing the Coolant Temp Sensor but I want to confirm that they are correct for my 1990 without O2 sensors.

I have only ever used the Bosch CTS and the HE 5.3ltr up to 9/94 are the same part number.

0 280 130 026

It was ......023 years ago, but now ......026.

It is NOT unique to Jaguar, fits all sorts, BMW, MERC, Aussie GM V6/8. some Ford (OZ), etc etc.

The PreHE is different, and ends in 025.

Never tested one, and at $20 why bother.

HOWEVER, most of the issues with that sensor is the wiring, inside the plug, 6" aft, where its splices to the ATS, and then at the rear near the TPS.

Thank you. I've downloaded the Bosch datasheet for that sensor and the values tally with those given on the site linked.
