Default Vacuum hose schematic

I need the vacuum hose schematic for my '87.
Nothing found in the Kirby book.
On the LH coolant pipe behind the T-stat is a screw in brass sensor with two hoses attached to the top. One hose goes down and into the LH fender where it connects to something in there. I have no idea what the second hose connects to.

Question #2. I have been under the impression since I have had the car (July 1992) that mine is an '87 model. it has always been registered as such. It is what I was told at the dealership I bought the car at. Recently though I began to have some doubt as I was told that the British and American new car rollout dates were different. The vehicle build date is October 1986. The VIN is 137490. This is important (I think) because I may need some A/C - climate control work done and the book says Delenaire II thru 1986 and Delenaire III from 1987 forward. I have a spare Delenaire III unit from an '88 XJS H&E convertible I parted two years ago.

Question #3; My latest acquisition, a BRG '89 coupe, needs a new ski slope. Are there replacement kits available? Maybe wood veneer pieces that can be glued and clear coated. Recommendations please. As always thanks to this Forum.

Brad,

I know that MY is important to you US owners (as opposed to just VIN changepoints for certain components which is what the rest of us focus on). VIN 137490 is in the middle of what is known as 1987 MY. (134286 to 139051) At that point Jaguar didn't have a distinction between what they call MY for the world as distinct from US market.

I'm sure there's lots of US places that can be recommended for veneer parts. If you get stuck, Myrtle in the UK are the big UK supplier.

Hope that helps

Paul

Paul,
Thanks, that answers my question definitively. Delanaire III it is then.
Do you have a website address for Myrtle? I have a friend traveling to England next month. I am putting a shopping list together for him. lol

Quick check for delanair 2/3: if you can pull out/push in the left side temperature control know to switch between manual/auto modes, it's delanair 3.
