I've seen figures of between 300 - 350 lb (without wheels). Be aware (you probably already know) that it's not very well-balanced and will tip forward damaging the diff nose if you're not careful.
Changing the rotors is not exactly a bit of a 'Walk in the Park' and though the Bolts are either loose or disconnected, I've still to get the cage out of the Car and so for the moment that bottle of JD remains unopened!

It's heavy enough that a single person can't pick it up. Use a trolley jack to lower it out of the car and slide it sideways out. Or, if you can get the height, rearward. As mentioned, the center of gravity is further forward then you might think, roughly under the front of the bottom tie plate.
I have not weighed it, but the diff itself is difficult to pick up by a single guy - so perhaps 80 lbs?
I would assume Grant is about right with 150kg, I have one out at the moment and can lift one end. I tried to lift a box of led this morning with my son, I know the box is a bit over 350kg and we couldn't budge it. I always knew we were never going to move it but he was keen to "show Dad up" and have a go, he got one end an inch off the floor and gave up.
Picking up the IRS Cage will not be a problem, as in a moment of madness which I now prefer to think of as sheer brilliance!
I went out for a Pint of Milk and then came back with a Truck Mounted Crane (as you do!)
Which as I explained to the GF was for picking stuff up!
Not that I had anything to pick up on that day, except that I do now
Which justifies my decision to buy this 'Big Boys Toy'
So no that's not the problem, or the reason I'd like to know just how heavy the IRS is
Because what I was thinking of doing, was to lift up 'The Ice Princess' on my Car Lift and then once having done so place a 40 gallon Oil Drum under the Front Beam and then 2 Oil Drums side by side under a piece of 4 X 4 Timber under the rear Jacking Points just behind the Cage
Then having done that lower the Cage onto the Car Lift Running Track and then lower it down to the Floor, then drag it out of the way with the Crane before returning the Car Lift Tracks back underneath the Car and then once having done so lower the Car back to the Ground
What could possibly go wrong?
Quite a few things really!
As if the IRS Cage is too heavy, it could unbalance the Car Lift and turn it into a 'See Saw' which then might knock one or maybe all of the Oil Drums out of the way, turning the Car Lift into some sort of a very expensive giant Sling Shot!
Where the Car would then drop to the ground at the Speed of a plummeting lift!
Of course that might not happen, as sometimes in life you have to take a chance but having done a Risk Assessment and run the Numbers on it, the only thing that came back, was 'Are you out of your mind!'
And so in order to seek reassurance, I checked with the 'Darwin Awards' where to my Surprise and Delight! no ones actually done that yet, so that would be a First!
Or maybe I should just pick up the Car with the Crane, where it seems that no ones done that either!
no need to remove yourself from the genepool just yet, you obviously have too much work to do. also your GF doesnt want some dealer to come round and buy your entire fleet for 10 quid to clear your garden
