Default Weird noise from rear of the car

Whelp. I found my first gremlin (I think) in my third day of ownership. I noticed that when I have the key in the "on" position I hear a strange, wining/grinding noise coming from the rear. My first thought was fuel pump, but that was replaced professionally a few months ago. It almost sounds like the antenna does when it is going up. (The antenna functions fine and I'm pretty sure this isn't the source of the noise) What could be making this noise and where should I start looking?

Um, wifes in the boot?????

Seriously,

I would get someone you trust, have them operate the key whilst you fiddle in the boot, and feel around for that noise.

My top choice is fuel pump. IF, when you turn the key ON, that noise lasts "about" 2 seconds, its the pump, 100%.

Lots of reasons for noisy pump:

Pump is wrongly installed in its foam padding to stop vibration noises.
Suction filter INSIDE that small tank is blocked.
MAin EFU filter, behind the spare wheel, is blocked.
DUD pump, it happens.
Contaminated fuel from the main tank has made its way to the pump, death is imminent.
