What model or what are the specs to look for when I search for them?

Also, what does that mean: "knock off type not bolt on" - do they need some kind of adapter to be installed?

Went in to change my trailer arms on the drivers side.
Got my *** kicked,,, kinda. Lol,,, head hung in shame...
I'll go back in tomorrah,,, then on to the passengers side.

Doggone nub where the arm connects looked like it was painted signal red, last week!!! Couldn't believe it. Was still a challenge to get the cup free, though...

Flushed the rad and cleaned the motor. Have to say it runs better and purrs like a cat.

Temperature creeped up past the "N" today in traffic, thought that was odd. Looked at a few old posts and jumped the relay for the aux fan.. Nothing, no fan. Got out my test light and no power to pin 87 on the plug. Moved onto the 10amp fuse and sure enough it was blown. The aux fan is back and temps are good again.

Got new(old :-) ) radio and few meters of fibre-optic cable (looks like cable may just work!).

Can't wait to sort out current 'wire mess from newer radio installation' and install all as it was intended.

Decided the hell with it, and on eBay just now I bought a bloody expensive updated two-directional centre vent for my '92 to replace the three-directional OEM vent. While my glued in vanes work well, they look a bit crude and I can't change their direction at all. It's apparently a very easy replacement, so it'll be interesting to see how well it works.
These things are really hard to track down....

Even without an enfine in the front, she looks dignified! What did I do? I sat at a distance and stared at my beautiful gem, designed by one of the most awesome designers ever... No fake dynamic lines. No weird creases. No shapes that don't belongs there. As my XJ8 is being scrapped, I have a LOT more time and fund for this Lady. I am soon looking forward to it!

That is poetic, Daim, and absolutely true.

No, no mistakes. The V12 is such a fine, refined engine it's actually an "enfine".
I agree with you on the design of course. What I love about it is the coherence: the way the car's front is defined by the headlights, and the body sides sweep back from them in a single, smooth line. Classic Jaguars have always been defined, style-wise, by their headlights and grille dominating the front end (this is where modern Jags fail: the headlights in particular are merely openings in the bodywork, not defining the bodywork). The XJS has no metal panels at the front at all: visually it's all lights, grille, and bumper. And at the rear, all the lines sweep together, accentuating the lowness and length, until abruptly cut off by the rear lights, but still leading the eye ever-rearwards.

My new Eibach uprated front springs.
Unfortunately, color only black. Why Eibach not to paint it in red
or yellow, like kingsprings?

Having suffered from starter failure due to radiated heat and high under bonnet temp when parked, on a British really hot day, from the exhaust. I decided to get a heat wrap for it, its only happened twice in 4 years but its well embarrassing
just clicking, amazon came through with a heat wrap from jegs in the states at a price that was £15 cheaper than the same item from eBay, so little job for this morning,

Very cute. You could park that on the Jag's bonnet and still have room to spare, right?

Well, we bought two. One for me, one for my parents and like that, when I'm home, I can park under the car port. The space the Volvo S80 used, is enough for 2 500s

In Japan they would probably be too big for a Kei Car, right?

Well, I don't know the dimensions, but the engine's about twice the kei max of 660cc.
When the Smart car came out in Japan, they had to redesign it with narrower wheels (and no wheel arches) in order for it to meet kei size regulations.

Haha... And the Smart ForTwo is already a motorised wheel chair!
