I'm not familiar with Jaguar convertible tops, but for weatherstrip application in general, look for Dynatex Weatherstrip Adhesive. #49429 is black #49430 is yellow. You have to be very precise in applying so it won't show. Squeeze some out of the tube and use a small disposable brush like an acid brush to apply a thin coat quickly to both surfaces. Hold things apart until the first coat just dries to the touch. Then apply a second thin coat to one side only in order to reactivate and press the parts together before it dries. It will bond instantly on contact. It helps to work small sections at a time because it dries very, very quickly. The instructions will say coat one side, press together to transfer glue to the other side, then pull it apart to let it get tacky and finally stick it back together. But to get it to transfer evenly before it dries too much, you have to use a thick coat and it tends to ooze out. So I like the reactivation method as its a little neater and I can keep the glue exactly where I want it.

Roofs are a high heat area. Use DAP Weldwood Top and Tonneau.
