What parts to keep

parts to keep
Window motors, cat converters, brake boost and assembly with brake fluid holding tank, door lock mechanisms, fancy rims, and almost anything you want to spend the time to take off that is sold on ebay and seems to be worth your time.... I have now junked my 89 xjs parts car and have a lot of items to sell that I have taken off but have not had time to clean and present properly for sale. Almost anything that is good will sell for something... It is just a matter of how much time you want to spend to get it ready for sale verses the probable amount you might receive..
Good luck

Keep as many sensors from the engine as you can. Or best even the entire engine. I sold my scrap engine (which turned nicely) but all elements mounted TO the engine (sensors, starter, fuel pressure regulators, etc.) were removed and put by side. Other parts from inside like stalks, door handles (pulls), etc. - all worth keeping. The steeringrack would be clever as well as rear axle (I sold my rear axle after deciding to overhaul mine)... Screens, glass, bumpers, lights, some rare hoses, etc.
