OB,
All I know is that the fronts are larger than the backs! To my shame after all these years I do not know the thread sizes, neither do i know the sump plug thread size. An opportunity for someone to create a sticky!
In the meantime, I would ring up Wards in Colchester, they will tell you and sell you some!

I can help you with that, I have installed brake bleeders on mine and it is an easy one man job to flush the brakes.
Front are M10 x 1mm (16mm long) - that is the length of the new bleeders.
Rear are 3/8 x 24 (16mm long)
I originally purchased 4 x M10 x1mm as that is what is listed on their website and they only fitted the front, using a thread gauge I worked out the rear were 24 pitch and purchased a bolt and it screwed in,
So I swapped the M10's for the 3/8th ones and installed them last night.
Once installed, I connected a hose with a rubber cap to the nipple, open the top of the nipple and then just bleed them, tighten when finished.
That easy. I have them on 3 x motorbikes and the XJS - not cheap but dam they are good.

Hi Guys
Jagsandmgs/Dukejag/
I've found some BF Goodrich Speed Bleeders which are 3/8 unf but it doesn't say how long they are (does length matter?)
2 for £26
Will these be ok for the Rears, as Bleeding the Front ones isn't too much of a problem
The Fancy German ones are about £27 each!
Which for me does not seem worth it for a job you are only doing once a year

OB,
I've been doing some research on these and other similar items as they seem a good idea.
Looking at the reviews, it seems to be absolutely critical to take care when installing them. There are a number of people who apparently sheared off the head when fitting them. With a relatively thin wall casting, you must be careful when tightening them. Read all the reviews on Amazon etc. before you fit them.
Good luck
Paul

Hi Paul
That was one of the reasons, why I didn't buy those and so instead I bought some solid steel ones from BF Goodridge where by way of a bonus they were only half the price, although they didn't arrive today as I was expecting they would
But I get what you say, so in any event will be Careful during the Install as I really don't think that I could hack another broken bleed nipple so soon after the last one
Cheers!
