Hey Orangeblossom, Elvis is it for me. No one before or after, covered as many genre's as He did, and had as many outright hits as he did, Including a Gospel album, when it was considered a taboo thing, and he pulled it off! Just my thoughts.

Before I bought my XJS, I stumbled onto a video on YouTube of some kids out driving their XJS(s) for fun.
The music in the video was X-Press 2 ft. David Byrne - Lazy.

The song stuck with me given my XJS's behavior as I tried to nurse it back to health.

Maybe I've just managed to save the best till last

'Start me up' by 'The Rolling Stones'

Those Lyrics could have been Written with an XJS owner in mind

And one way or another must have somehow touched all owners in one way or another at sometime

Not bad, Not bad, at all. Definitely has some references that could very easily, be applied to the XJS. Sad part is the man can't sing, but yet had a very successful career. Just as Steven Tyler, of Aerosmtih. Both of them prove you don't have to be able to sing to have a music career! Just my Thoughts.

Somehow this song seems to match too... David Bowie, Cat People...

Daim, I've read and agreed with you on many things, but I'm afraid on this one I can't see, or hear, any resemblance to the "Spirit" of an XJS. David Bowie had a strange way of looking at the world. I see some resemblance between cats and women. But Cat People???
Sorry, not feeling it. LOL!
