Like so many of these kind of things doesn't tell the whole story, whilst I concede his reaction is a little extreme you don't see or know the trigger. I too have encountered individuals who aren't fit to be behind the wheel - douchebags that thought throwing things through my sunroof on a highway was supposedly funny but your not supposed to react - yeh right - of course in the age of reality TV every one wants to be judge and jury.

Here in the USA and I imagine other places we tend to take driving mistakes personal, as if there is some imaginary field of space around you and your car that no one shall dare to violate. People make mistakes, no excuse for this behavior. It accomplishes nothing and exposed that man for the barbarian he really is.
A few years back I had the pleasure of driving in Rome, anything goes, someone pulls out in front of you... then your just go around them. Someone goes through a light and almost T bones you, you swerve out of the way, yell ah-fangoo with a hand movement and flick yours ashes and get back to driving forward. It's no accident Italian and I imagine many European Drivers are amongst the best race car drivers in the world, they've been trained. Life is too short for this nonsense, just beep, flip a sign and keep rolling!

Yep - same in London, Madrid, Paris - and Mumbai or Cairo all bets are off - anyone with the roadrage gene would be a nervous wreck - and Rome is nothing compared to Napoli (Naples).
People get brave in cars though, they feel untouchable and do stuff they wouldn't dare do face to face with no wrapper around them
No excuse for the behaviour - perhaps - but you've set yourself up as his judge, all I can say is judge not lest ye be judged.
