Default Window trim piece question

What is the name of the wide chrome piece on the right side of my windshield, kind of an L shape runs from the hood to the top of car?
And where is best place to buy one; new or used??

1989 XJS coupe

Thanx,

I don't know if there is a name for it other than windshield trim. This piece is not chrome, it is actually stainless. Keep in mind that stainless can often be repaired.

It's called an A-Post finisher part number BDC7218 for the RH part.

They have them at JDHT for about $100. If you google the part number you may find local suppliers.

Cheers,

Allan
