Windows not working properly after a complete paint job

Had my STUNNING newly black painted 88 XJS for a week and the windows simply will not close all the way without a little nudge.
The only thing ,concerning the doors, touched while painted was the door handle. They were removed. (have to adjust the rods on passenger door as well, exterior handle not releasing properly either)
The windows worked perfectly before paint. Regulators seem to be working but just not closing all the way without a push at the very end. Body shop guy tried cleaning regulators, and lubing all possible sticking areas.
Any ideas?

Mmmmm, getting those exterior handles off is a work of art. The access between the securing nuts and the door channel is limited at best.
Then good old panel shop "dust" gets inground into those felt runners, and that jams the glass seriously.
I would suggest some good quality "silicone spray" and spray the runners liberally. This has assisted many windows for me over the years. I use CRC brand down here, but your market will have its favourites.
