Windscreen Pillar Trim Mastic

Windscreen Pillar Trim Mastic
Has anyone here found a substitute for the mastic that is placed on the channel under the chrome / stainless trims on the windscreen. I removed my trims to clean out the gulleys and the mastic has gone hard and broken in places, has this stuff gone the same way as Dum Dum putty ... I checked with the usuals and nobody can supply replacements for this under trim 'things', I can't even find them in the parts book although SNG Barratt seem to know about them (they can't supply either).
Anyone found a good alternate ?

Sikaflex have all sorts of products, I use something called Stixall. But more importantly, I would block up the drains hole at the top, from the gutter above the doors, that, unbelievably is meant to drain down the A pillar under the trim! It has no effect on you geting wet getting into the car, and protects the pillar and, more importantly the scuttle the water ends up on, from rust.
Below is the GiF system from draining this scuttle, under the wing-end, area. This is a known rust spot and rust here is serious if it starts.
The tube goes down inside the wheelarch stone guard and appears out of the bottom of it. Water that collects in this area now has a place to drain out.
Another VERY important thing to do is to seal all round the wheelarch baffles, front and rear of the front wheel, with mastic (I use stuff called Stixall which is magic). When I have to get in there, I just lever off the baffles and underneath it is BONE dry and 100% rust free.
