Windscreen washer nozzles drrrrrr
So i went to wash my windshield this morning on my 93 convertible and noticed that the stream was mis aligned. I got out and actuated it so i could properly adjust the nozzles and noticed fluid spraying out of the back of them. Drrrrr! I pulled them and noticed they are both cracked. Argh! AH HA! I remembered that I had a spare set from my replacement wiper assembly! Of course when i looked at them, they are cracked too. Drrrrr. I then thought “oh well I will just buy new ones” as i had looked when i first got the car and had seen that they were about $20-30 each. To my frustration and yet belief, they are now NLA. I do see someone has a set of 2 NOS on ebay right for about $270! ARGH! Looks like I’ll be looking for other options smh.

Hi,
Similar problem with my car (1990, coupe). There was so much leakage from the body of the washers that there was hardly anything projecting out of the nozzles themselves.
I bought a pair of cheap, black, plastic, universal washer jets from that well known auction website. Had to grind down the sides of the washer bodies with a dremmel tool and hand file so that they sat down neatly between the ribs of the black grill. The original nozzles had heating elements so, if yours is the same, you will need to disconnect the wires and isolate them. As a precaution I also removed the fuse which, from memory, only fed the nozzle heaters.
My manual indicated that you had to remove the wiper motor and disconnect the supply but I found that with the wiper blades removed there was enough slack in hoses and leads so that the grille, to which everything is fixed, could be lifted up and turned upside down to access the back of the washer jets. This is also a good opportunity to clean out the all the crud that has accumulated in the plenum under the grill and treat any rust.
Good luck,
LeeP

Unfortunately without tearing mine apart again, this is the best pic i can find on google right now which is actually off the auction i mentioned. I am looking at aftermarket too, but am concerned they wont "click" into place due to not having listed measurements. I have seen the ones that actually have a nut to hold them on, but I haven't measured the cowl yet to see how long the shank would have to be to work properly
