Wiring question for Marelli...again

I was able to get the new harness built for the injector side of the house but of course now I'm finding more issues.
The car is a 1992 12 cylinder, Marelli and the issue is the wiring coming out of the power modules in the front. Specifically I'm talking about the wiring that then goes down the LH side cylinder head on the outside and then crosses behind the cylinder head in the back. Here's what mine looks like
Anyway, it's a mess! I chased the harness back to the back side of the cylinder head where it meets up with some other wiring. Every time I moved anything it of course made the nice crunching noise and bits of wiring sheath fell away.
My question concerns the sheathed wiring. Does it need to be replaced with sheathed/coax or can I just go all the way into the power module and splice into that wiring (assuming I can actually get to the wiring behind the cylinder head).
Thanks again!

Take a close look at the shielded wire because it may be okay, even if the outside insulation is cracked. While a regular wire will be ruined with bad insulation, the coax signal wire inside the shield is better protected.
But I've also wondered if shielded wire was necessary or a conservative approach by Jaguar.

That entire harness should of been wrapped and lifted off the floor (valley of death) yuck...if anyone has a guy who can rebuild these marelli harnesses left us know I need a new one to, my wires to the ignition module are kept "working" with tie wire and a peice of cardboard...terribly small brittle wires for such a heat/energy intensive operation.
