Would an XJS using 0/40 Oil or 5/40 Oil use more Oil than an XJS using 10/40 Oil

Ok, I understand the mangle scenario (even though I am under 60!) but why would racers use it? They run around at max chat all the time so the oil is going to be mangled a lot harder and have to dissipate a lot more heat than your average cruise down Sunset Boulevard.
I am not saying that my oil pressure has gone up by 20 or 30 psi, maybe only 4 or 5 but it is definitely also running a bit cooler.

Factory engines now are all about meeting emissions and fuel economy objectives, with reasonable durability. Race engines can be built a lot more "loose" since emissions are not a primary goal. They are all one offs, rather than assembly line built too. Factory tolerances are excellent these days, that's harder to do in a non production, non CNC environment. Horses for courses....
